Dream DVD player

I want to add a stand alone DVD player to my collection. I am lookin for the following features.

MP3 CD playerback
VCD
I would like SVCD but can live without
CD-R playback
CD-RW playback
Don't need or want Mini-DVD
Don't want Componate video as I have no jacks.
XVCD and XSVCD

I would love a hackable one so I can import Japanese DVD's.

I have about 150 US Dollars

Mine works great, got it at Circuit City for about 129. So far it has played everything I've tried.

I have an afreey LD 2060(its a sampo clone) ..it can play everything you mention and a lot more..it can be region free, can remove macrovision, firmware upgradeable, you can even change the default screen picture.

Apex AD-703 is what I got to meet those exact requirements back in February for $179.99 at Circuit City. Except I had one more requirement... 3 Disc changer! Put a whole (S)VCD movie in there, and you don't have to get up to change and handle the discs.

Unfortunately this Afreey LD2060 is no longer being built. You'll either have to choose then the Sampo DVE560 or also sold under the name Encore DV450, should you want the same technique as the Afreey LD2060.
