The DVDR80 I have records excellent. The only problem I have run into is the color. Sometimes when I turn it on to record are watch a DVD the color will be faded out. To correct this all I have to do Is unplug the unit for 5 sec. and plug it back up(I call this rebooting), and the color problem has been corrected. Sometimes you can correct this by simply turning the unit off then back on.
Has anyone else had this problem with the DVDR80? Is this something I should be concerned with? the problem is easily corrected.
Thanks
Ken

I have a 75 and very occasionally I have to unplug it , it isn't a hassle so I don't mind.
Generally I am very pleased with it.
Philips are popular but not perfect , There have been a lot of reported problems.
