I have a Memorex dual format dvd burner. It's rated speed is 4x for DVR +/- R. Just purchased some TDK DVD-R on which the rated speed is 2x. Now I think they are compatible, but would like some confirmation BEFORE I open the package, 'cause like the great majority of people I hate to waste money!.![]()

they should work just fine. if your burner can do 4x it can also do 1x, 2x, 2.4x(usually) and 4x.
the rating is the maximum that the burner can go to. i have used those tdk discs and they worked pretty good. -
Thank you. That is what I thought, but again, I wanted confirmation BEFORE opening the package, 'cause why waste the money if they wouldn't work.
