I bought a PhilipsDVD728 and I need to plug it to my TV using S-Video.
I forgot to check in the shop and to my horror, when I got home, there was no S-Video output.
If I buy a scart to S-Video cable and hook it up this way, will I get a picture (bearing in mind I will have to do the sound seperately)???
Cheers,

NO, the only way to use the scart is using RCA outputs. hopefully you have those....
s-video outputs different signal than rca or scart. each pin for each color... -
it looks like they sell this cable, stating that the signal is color....
i guess this is your only option, unless you can take it back and exchange it...
the best way is rca to scart, that works for sure.
i know that the signal from s-video is different....still don't think that works perfect....might be wrong....
