Hello,
I have a Roxette pal dvd from ebay and I've been trying to convert it to ntsc for a couple of years. The main problem is time, it's sooo long to process anything on an AMD 850mhz. I've got an xbox but no dvd kit. If the xbox plays pal discs cleanly I would like to dub the dvd to my capture card and make it a ntsc disc. If this is possible please let me know.
Kevin
P.S. I don't want to spend more to buy a multi region dvd player, 10 or 15 bucks for a dvd kit for the xbox seems better (only if it works). Also, the dvd is in stereo only so I don't care about keeping it in pure digital.
Thanks in advance.

The xbox is region protected like 99% of all the other DVD players out there so I'd say no. Your only option would be to convert the PAL DVD into NTSC. Oh, and this post probably belongs in the converting part of the forum, not capturing

Hello,
Thanks for the input. I guess I'm just gonna have to face the facts and convert each music video. I suppose this won't take more than a few days of processing time on my 850mhzOh well, it was worth a shot. Thanks again.
