I am capturing analog video with a Miro DC30+ card and VirtualDub. I need to trim the starts and ends of clips. Should I do that in the source AVI files (MJPEG) or after converting to MPEG2 (with TMPGEnc)? Thanks.

Always trim as a AVI Mpg trim is difficult and your are editing a compressed format instead of a source
