  1. I know there are several simple programs out there that will enable you to compile your own DVD from SVCDs/VCDs (but it has to reconvert them) and allows you to create menus and such, but i'm having a hard time finding them. I used to use one a while back but lost it.

Anyone know the name of a program like this?

    Thanks,

  2. BTW, SVCD2DVD does not have to "reconvert" them. (Did you really mean "re-encode?") It simply changes some header information, resamples the audio, and creates menus for you. Good program, although with fairly basic menuing features. Worth registering.

    Did i do something wrong?
    Should i try another alternative?

    Thanks for your help,
    I appreciate it

  4. I'm afraid that I'm not an expert on the program. You may try to ask for help on their forum:

  5. That sort of looks like a dead end for me. Is there any other programs that can do svcd to dvd with ease? Even without menus?
    Thanks

P.S. Is there anyway to get SVCD->DVD w/o having to re-encode the video?

    Simple program: DVDauthorgui
    More advanced program: DVD-lab

For me DVD-lab give better result as in playback compability on my DVD-player.

Look for them on in the tools section to the left.
