I authored a DVD that looks like a perfect full screen DVD on my computer, but on my stand alone (an RCA- sorry I don't know the model number, it's not on the unit itself) the picture is horizontally squashed, with huge black margins running down the left and right hand sides of the screen. Sorry, I don't know what aspect ratio it is, but it sure isn't any I've seen before. Anybody know why this is, and what I can do to fix it? I've never had this problem on any other DVDs I've authored.
I recorded the video off DirecTV using ATI TV. I converted to DVD Video and color corrected with TMPGEnc. I authored the DVD with TMPGEnc DVD Author and burned the disc with Ahead Nero. (For some reason, TMPGEnc wouldn't burn it properly- It would tell me "burning complete" and stop the burn only 10 minutes into the burn, leaving me with an unusable disc.)
