  1. I dont get it. I have avi files i wanted to convert to vcd(Mpeg) so i got the Aare avi to vcd converter program. The first couple cd's i burned were converted and seperated fine but now all the rest are converted but have no sound to them....what happened. HELP!!!!

    Yyah, hmm i tried that artical. but....

    i also used Aari prog. and i didn't achieved any sound.

    is there some other tools u can use to make a good VCD from AVI??

  3. I use GoldWave for extracting the sound and never had any prob. I hear many use VirtuaDub also. I get a very nice sound quality with Goldwave and I dont do any more tweaking that what is given in the guide. Goldwave could seem to be a bit scarry.

    You could use AVI2VCD. It is an extremely simple program but I dont like it that much. You could use DVD2SVCD. I have the software bundle which allows me to choose the input formats (DVD, AVI, DVB"PVA") to output formats (SVCD, DVD, VCD). I dont use this either.

  4. hi .i think you should use tmpgenc 2.59 which you can download from the the pegasys website which i believe is the best free mpeg 1 encoder available on the internet.it's a bit more complex to use than avi to mvcd converter but far better.
