    I just ran a web search for DL media, and have found it to be available. That being said, has ANYONE had the chance to test the NEC ND-2500a to 2510a firmware upgrade to confirm this actually works?(at burning DL disks that is)

    A bump after just a day?!

    Yes, with DL media becoming available, a lot of tests have been done.
    1/ A number of @2510A DL tests have been successful (haven't heard of any failures yet)
    2/ A number of @832S DL tests have been successful (haven't heard of any failures yet)

    Sorry to be so impaitient, but I just bought a 2500a, and am short on time to return, if I want to exchange. I love the 2500a so far, and if the update werx, no need to spend $20+ dollars more for a 2510a.
