Philips DVDR 1000 (the old one)

Hi all!

My father has an Philips DVDR 1000 and have made some home movie on his digital cam recorder for me. Then he burned a disc for me and i tried it in both my DVD players at home. On both players the movie stops and freezes with the same amount of time between lockups and freezes.

My DVD Players are SAMSUNG M-215 and a Centrum Gemini 330 with the latest software 1.84 and with this latest software i got an improvement and no lockups. Just press stop and play once and the movie continues.

Can someone point me in the right direction to solv this problem?

Is it we that can't burn the disc properly or is it both my DVD players that are bad?
