First off, I'm a n00b, so plz bear with meThank you.
Background info: I have 2 PCs, a Dell and a Compaq. On my Dell (XP Pro), I have a GeForce FX 5200 128mb w/ a VGA, S-video, and a DVI port. Hooked up to it is a VGA monitor and a DVI monitor. It all works fine and dandy just the way I like it to...remember, both monitors are coming out of ONE video card.
Here's my deal, on my Compaq (Windows 98SE), it came with an SiS 530 (old video card, probably onboard video chip or something, still in PC) which has a VGA port. Later on, I bought a GeForce 4 64mb w/TV out (for the S-Video out), but now I don't need 1 monitor and 1 TV. NOW, i need 2 monitors. Is it possible to hook 1 monitor up to the one card and a 2nd monitor up to the other card to display the same image except:
-Always play video full screen
-Run at a DIFFERENT resolution
Monitor 1 must be at 800x600 all the time acting normal.
Monitor 2 must be at 640x480 w/video played full screen automatically.
I don't care which monitor goes to which card. Maybe the SiS530 would not do the Video Full Screen automatically, because that is a Nvidia feature. So it really doesn't matter to me. Please explain how and if this is possible. Thank you so much.
