    so i finally decided on the panasonic s35. but it has become
    discontinued and is getting harder to find.
    My next choice is a Sony DVPNS 355.
    Not having owned either brand of dvd player, i am not sure whether to
    pursue the panny or settle for the sony.
    Any input appreciated..

    What are you looking for in the player ?, how much do you have to spend ?, going to an amp ? or tv ?, what type of tv?

    dvd-r,dvd+r,dvd-rw,dvd+rw,mp3, good picture and sound, connecting to a panasonic 32" wide screen 100hz tv.
    both these are sub £100, my old DVD is a Samsung 709.
    Sorry to see it go, but wont play dvd-rw..
