  1. Is it possible to cap in a constant frame rate with powervcr II. Like when I cap in MPEG2,I relised that the frame rate jumps from 29.9,30.1,21.2,the frame rates keeps jumping,I know this is normal. But when I preview it in DVD2AVI,the fps keeps jumping even in the encode, its suppose to have a constant frame rate like 29.97. How can I fix this?

Hmm... I've never had that problem. I just checked a recent capture and it shows 29.97 constant, after conversion with TMPGEnc.

Probably has nothing to do with it, but post your specs in your profile, just in case.

  3. I don't think this has to do with specs.

The audio has a frame rate too, right? But since the audio is direct from the MPEG2,the frame rate isn't constant, how can I make it constant too?

The framerate sucks because you were dropping video frames (but not audio frames). Use PVAStrumento to fix it.
