  1. hi could any one please help SONY DWU-U18A or the Pioneer DVR-107 which would you recomend i am a 1st time buyer and will be using it for home movies shot on a dv camcorder, or if anyone has any better suggestions please let me know and where i can get the writers from as i am in the uk and the two i have seen are on www.ebay.co.uk

  2. Sony are junk Pioneer's are very good also LG is very good and full support for DVD-RAM I would get a LG www.newegg.com

    Get the Pioneer one. I did and am very happy with it's quality.

  5. LG makes good cheap aircons too, and maybe you should get a washing machine and a refrigerator also, will have a volume discount maybe? I have LG cd burner, too bad they didnt stick to making washing machines and aircons.

    Well i got a 107d recently and its just great. So far the hacked firmware allows burning at faster speeds than default and riping at the maximum speed of the drive which is speedy.

    smooth and quiet.

    Pioneer rules...
