Did anyone watch Day Of The Dead yesterday on the Sci-Fi channel?

I liked Dawn of the Dead better

Ive got both Divimax DVD releases and...I prefer Dawn of the Dead. Day isn't bad but Dawn is much more exciting for me. Have you seen Savini's color re-shoot of Night of the Living Dead? Excellent movie, he was one of the few who could do a reshoot of that film justice, and in some ways I prefer his vision for NOTLD over Romero's original.

I'm there with Delerium, I've always preferred Dawn to Day. I was pleasantly surprised that the Dawn remake was as good as it is.

yes, I liked that quite a bit - I thought it stayed true to the original, while updating it and taking some liberties that I liked very much. I loved the idea of making Barbara an active advocate for escape, and not a screaming basket case.
