Pat Tillman was a class act. If I had kids, he was the kind of athlete I'd want them to adopt as a role model.

Regardless of how I feel about this war, someone like that makes me proud(and grateful) to be an American.

Ditto on that amen.
If they'd just put aside some of the coverage of mutant freakaziods like Michael Jacksoff, and devote a little bit more time to real heroes like Pat, our kids would get a different and healthier message about the world. -

Never heard of him until now, but people such as Pat Tillman reaffirms my belief that the human race do have some good in them.

RIP, Pat Tillman. RIP all who have given their lives for a greater good. Thank you !! -
Sorry - but to me it is just another sensless death in a sensless war. I feel sorry for his family and friends, and any kids whom may have had him as a role model. HOpefully they will not emulate him and die in a foreign country.

the senseless war is in iraq. afghanistan (maybe pakistan) is where the guys are who were behind killing 3000 americans.
i do support our troops, but not the joke of a "president" that is in right now.
pat tillman should be emulated, from what i've read of him he was a very upstanding man. -
When men like Tillman are so few and far between, 'friendly fire' just makes it worse.
All-American hero was killed by 'friendly' fireRegards,
Rob -
The source of the bullet doesn't diminish his personal sacrifice in any way. He's still a hero in my book
