    Hello all,

Hopefully I am in the right forum and yes, I did look to the left to no avail. My question is, how can i rip an already burned DVD+R that has read errors?? I captured some stuff off of VHS and burned to DVD+R. I unfortunately did not check for read errors until it ws too late. I have only uesed DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero Recode....and no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

There is a setting in DVD Decrypter to ignore read errors. Unfortunately, in my experience, it is still nearly impossible to do, unless you have very few errors. It reads each error block about 10 times before it goes on to the next block. If there are a lot of error blocks, it could take all night to read a bad disk, and then you still might not have anything useful when you're done.

  3. Dvd X Rescue, from dvdxcopy might do the trick, probably not worth it for one disk.
