  1. I have some split screen footage of an xbox game its split into 4 screens so like + however I just want to take the footage from one of the split screens... I don't know how to go about doing this though

    you can do that in adobe premiere. the quality wont be that great though.

  3. thats what I'm trying to do it in, Premiere pro... can't find much on that just on 6.0... could you tell me the steps?

    well, what you are basically doing is cropping everything but that one screen, and then expanding it to fill the rest of your image area.

    you could do it with Virtualdub as well - use the Crop filter to cut everything else, then Resize to fit your output image size.

    depending on the resolution it was captured at, it may look anywhere from average to terrible.

    in premiere pro, you can use the motion filter or the transform filter. with motion, just make the scale bigger then move the video to where you want it. transform is the same thing, except the scale width and height are separate controls.

    they have a PIP tutorial that might help you with this one.
