  1. i have a power acoustik PA-DVD340 in my car running to a 6" TFT LCD monitor. everything works great EXCEPT....

if i start it up in the morning, the picture shows up as black and white. usually, it will flicker a bit and then randomly convert to color. but what's even more strange is that if i start it up on a hot afternoon, it's all in full color already. is this problem heat-related?

i've double checked to make sure that it's set for NTSC. also, the video output connection is a 1/8" jack that leads to a normal male RCA connection. so the only other thing i can think of is that it might be a loose connection somewhere?

  2. one more thing, i'm pretty sure that it's not the monitor either. that always defaults to a blue screen if there is no video signal. plus the monitor's menu screens are in color.
