I've was told of a local "recycling" store around here. I stumbled across a Toshiba SVHS VCR with a built in TBC. It ran me 12,800 yen (about $120). It looks hardly used. I got all the paper work and remote with it (usless at this point since I can't read it). It has done a fine job on a tape that refused to capture wthout dropping frames. I also picked up a Neo Geo![]()

Neo Geo, huh? I haven't seen one of those in about 10 years. I wanted one pretty bad back then but it, along with the games were a little too pricey for me. The VCR sounds pretty sweet.
