    How can I have an 5.1 AC3 sound to build my own DVD ? When I do capture from camcoder, there are only two channels. So, it isnīt possible to convert a two channel sound into 5.1 AC3 sound, I mean, itīs possible but the quality will not be good. I never saw any camcoder that have support to capture sound in 5.1 AC3 format sound ? What should I do ? I do some captures from a satellite receiver and there are only two channels... Any solution ?

    it sounds like you answered your own question..theres no point in trying to turn a 2 channel source into more channels. If you are asking how movies do it it is most if not all post recording.
