looking for DVD-RW media

i have a Samsung DVD-709 and am looking for some DVD-RW media that will play in it.
Has anyone got this DVD player and using DVD-RW media, or can anyone suggest any media which is likely to work?

131 comments on your player in the dvd-players list and noone seem to have had success with DVD-RW, i would say your chances are very small. I know my reply is useless, but i like to say that if i were you i would buy another player, since that one sem to play only a few -R and +R and 'no' RWs. I just cant imagine having a player like that, only regionfree that handle all kind of burned media is on my approved list, thats why i still have a chipped Pioneer DV444.

There are players that refuse to play rewritable medias no matter what brand you use.

You could try bitsetting on DVD+RW (if your burner is capable) but you'd better buy another player that plays anything.
