ok heres a new one.
upgraded computer about 2 months ago to an HP media center (windows media center xp) been capturing my home video via DV camcorder. awesomely easy.
now i wish to go back to older video 8 tapes which means analog input (rca jacks right in front) so far so good. but when i open pinnacle and CHANGE the input source from DV to Coneaxant (i'm guessing the RADEON 9200 board capture driver) the system REBOOTs EVERY TIME. and i can not "see" the video in ULEAD studio 6 either i can see it in ShowBIZ 2.0 but not Ulead DVD movie maker either. what i am saying is i have about 5 or 6 video editing/capture programs some work some dont
1. the showbiz came with the computer (it works but has no way of customing the capture method)
2. pinnacle my backbone for editing/capturing can capture the DV stuff but not the analog stuff.
anybody else had this happen?
yes i went to HP and ATI for latest drivers and i have them
