unassociating from a thread?

is there any way i can unassociate myself from a thread? basically, i always do an ego search, but no longer want "word association" "two choices, you decide" and "report threads/members" to show up as i'm not interested in reading them. possible?

I know what a yellow card does, and I know that a red card probably means a ban, but what does a green card do? Does it remove/lift a ban or a warning?

When it was first introduced we were messing around in the Moderator forum banning and warning each other.

Luckily it pops up a confirmation message so you can't accidently ban youself.
