    Hey guys,

My uncle LOVES my powerbook and has fell in love with Macs. He wants to buy a Mac desltop but is on a budget. Since he is on a budget he just purchased the new 1.25/superdrive E-mac for only $850(from his friend's store). I don't have a superdrive on my laptop so I don't know about the burning programs for Apple. In your own PERSONAL opinions, what do you feel is the best, fastest, and easiest method for ripping, encoding, and burning DVDs on a Mac? Can the software be downloaded for free or trial? Thanks.
