    I searched but couldnt find anything.

    I want to know if there is any specific 8x media that will work with this drive. For all of the good 8x media, the compatibility lists or charts seem to only support the pioneer a07, nec 2500, sony dru 530 and the like.

    Any suggestions?

    If I'm not mistaken, the DW-U18A is the OEM version of the DRU-530A.

    DW-U18A is an OEM Lite-On SOHW-812S, the DRU-530A is based on Accesstek/Optorite.
