Hi
I want to preview my video onto a TV screen while editing in Premiere, and I am having trouble doing this
Do I need to have a firewire vcr or DV cam and then the TV connected to that for me to able to preview, or is there an easier way??
Thanks

You could do it that way or if your video card has composite or S-video outputs you could use those.

if your video card supports multiple monitors, you can use the second one as a preview monitor i believe. otherwise, the only other way is to connect your cam via firewire, then connect your cam to your tv. thats the way i always do it.

Thanks.
I got a video card with an S-vid jack but when i hook up my TV it treats it as a second monitor, so I can only use Premieres montior view on it. I want to actually view my project as it would look like on a TV once I have turned it into a DVD.
Looks like the tv connected ot the DV cam is the only way?
