going overseas soon, need help please

hey all.. i'm going overseas here in a week, and i need help with 2 movies of mine i want to take...
ok.. first of all, tools..
i'm using dvd decrypter(newest) to copy the main movie to my hd (ifo mode if this helps any), then i'm using dr divx(newest) to convert to divx.
i have newest codecs too
ok.. my first movie (austin powers 3 GOLDMEMBER) shows 2 movies in dvddecrypter in the same

one gets errors as soon as you start copy, two gets to 80% then gets errors...
i've tried FTPing it from my xbox to my puter, it my xbox just hangs there... it doesn't do that for other movies

my second movie is "jackass: the movie"
it starts dvd decrypter with "RCE protection FOUND!" i then choose the region.
i click the copy button and it goes to town just fine,
but when i load it with dr divx, it loads with no audio...

the reason i'm copying the main movie to HD then dr divx the VOB to divx
is because it's the EASIEST way i've found....... just copy, load, convert, goto bed


help please anyone?

have you therally cleaned both of those discs?

yes, i use amonia free window cleaner, i've used it for like 2 years now for my dvds and CDs...
plus, the dvds are all in EXCELENT condition....

If they are RSDL, make sure the layers are still firmly bonded together. Look at the data side of the disc. If there is a coffee-like stain spreading out from the centre of the disc, then that explains everything. I've had a similar problem with other discs (I won't say where I got them, or which ones), and it was either a case of delamination or scratching. What is the exact error message you get? If it is a CRC error, then you're not going to be able to copy the disc in all likelihood.

no delamination on either.....
i uninstalled the dvd player and let xp reinstall it,
and right now i'm ripping goldmember (the one that gived me errors....)
i dont think it's my dvd rom because i've tried dtping from xbox to puter....

ok... i've been trying and trying and trying with jackass the movie, and this is what i've found out.....i used vobrator to look at the VOBs and in VTS_03_1.VOB the sound is different than the other VOBS, all the others have like a speaker icon for sound, where VTS_03_1 has a ?dolby? icon....
i've attatch a picture,



maybe someone can help me out?
i'm tried 2 different audio extracters "DVD Audio Extractor" and "#1 DVD Audio Ripper" they dont seem to recognize the audio in 03_1..
i've also tried ripping the movie in "#1 DVD Ripper", it ripped, but audio sounds squeeky, dirty, and some static in it...

oh, i have latest AC3 codec, so it cant be that


anyone dealt with this yet?
