hello all, here's what i want to do: to make a VCD of the bonus features in a DVD. i have succesfully made a movie only disc of the DVD but would also like to make backup of the bonus features but only on a VCD (on just one if i can fit all of it in). here's the question: i have done the VCD bonus feature successfully where the VOB exists as only one title. can i combine all the bonus features on to a VCD if the VOBs exists as separate titles? i use Pinnacle's InstantCD&DVD to encode and burn from DVD to VCD. it allows me to select only one bonus feature per CD-R which is wasteful of course. hence i am asking this question and hoping someone out there has the experience and can tell me what to do.

here's an unexpected discovery whilst looking further into the problem: i find that i can reauthor the features separately into a video folder using DVD Shrink (and also shrink them down to CD-R size if necessary). then i created an .iso image file using IMGTools Classic which i then burnt using DVD Decrypter. what results is a CD-R with DVD video quality that plays on my stand-alone DVD player. and i can use the skip button on the remote to go from one feature to another. great, huh?

here's a follow-up: the playback of the video and audio on the CD-R was jerky but the same content burnt on a CD-RW plays beautifully! does anybody know the why this is so? has it to do with the thicker layer of material on a CD-RW? btw, i have only tried one brand of CD-R (Mitsumi 80 mins).
