I like Gif Animation 5 from Ulead myself, but I don't make animated gifs very often.

I have animation shop with the aniversary edition on paintshop pro.
Never used it before but this thread inspired me to try it out.
The capmaster's avatar had to be my inspiration.
I hope he enjoys it. -
Reboot suggested Photoshop but he actually was talking about Image Ready (which is piggy backed) with Photoshop and can be found as a standalone program, at least the first version was (guess it didn't sell too well on its own). I think it first appeared with Photoshop in version 5.5.
If it works, don't fix it. -
