i have a notebook computer. a sony vaio. has firewire and USB1 ports. whats the best video capture device? i want something that has DVD resoultion with a high bitrate.
i bought the Hollywood bridge, but it didnt work with my computer. i'm probably going to buy a "USB instant DVD" from ADS Tech. but i'm not sure.
something i could capture to MPEG2 at 8mb/sec bitrate, and burn to DVD, watch it on my DVD player. that would be nice... or something close enough to that (which would be the "USB instant DVD" thing, as i understand it, but it only goes up to 6mb/sec)
thanx
