Can anyone tell me if there is such a thing as decent filters for capturing vhs home movies/tv. Which are the best? How?
I am using a ATI AIW 8500DV most current updates etc. what i am getting is a incredibly grainy picture even on in tv reception. i have read reveiws on this card and it seems to be common just hoping someone has found a way around it.
also tried 3 different aged and type vcr's with no success. also tried running vcr thru cable tv in ( coax ) which by the way works great. I think better than the rca hook ups

MMC comes with videosoap which many say is more than o.k. There
is an update for MMC for free download at www.ati.com.
VirtualDub is a capturing/editing program that has excellent filtering
ability for VHS sources. See left hand side for guides and link
for download.
