I can't believe that nobody follows games here... OK. I am going to listen important game in 1.5 hour from internet radio since there is no channel that would broadcast this in USA

SWEDEN is going to win of cours with players like Forsberg and Sundin they will not miss. Sorry to say i can't follow the games since i live in the US.

Sweden is good team but thare are still teams like Canada, Czech Republic or Slovakia (World Champions from last year)

The world championship isn't that interesting, it is way too often(every year) and the best players aren't there. But I will probably start watching when the quarter finals begins...

sven_pether: did you remember the olympics last year?....it didn't help that we had all the best swedish nhl players then...

Yes i remember the Olympics last year. I still have the picture on my desk beside the computer to remind me of the failure against Belarus.


I agree though that it's never the best players and it takes away most of the fun.

Canada over Russia 5-2, caught the 3rd period during lunch at work.

I'm more caught up in the NHL playoffs as the hometown Canucks are looking pretty good right now. Hopefull they'll finish off Minnesotta tonight!

I just find Hockey extremely boring. Football a.k.a. American Football, is much more fun to watch to me.

What I meant is that they do not broadcast it here in US on any channel. World Championship is not inerested enough since they have Stanley Cup playoffs.

The olympics are extremely boring. I just don't see how people can watch that stuff. Same for the Masters, which is played about 10miles from where I live.
