I read the guide on vcdhelp.com and tried it, but CCE 2.50SP or CCE 2.62SP won't accept the .vdr file from the VDub frameserver. Is there anyway to make this work or is there another way to make a SVCD with CCE? I really need to compare CCE SVCD with Tmpeg SVCD before i start making final SVCD.
I capture AVI using IUVCR in W2k with a Pixelview TVPro.
Capture in 720X576 Pal. Using Picview MJPEG at 18 quality.
Any help will be really appreciated, Thanks!

CCE 2.5sp should accept the VDR file, however 2.62 will not (it doesn't support framesevering). So first question are you sure you're using 2.5sp, and second what's the problem/error when you try to open the cdr file?
Remember, to add files to cce you have to right click, choose add, then display *.*, and then select the VDR file. If you choose open that's to open CCE's ecl files. -
I am using CCE 2.5SP and i am doing the add thing and i definitely am opening the vdr file. The message i get is:
"AVIFileOpen(D:\test.vdr): According to the registry, the type of file specified in AVIFileOpen does not have a handler to process it."

You can try running CCE v2.5 through apcompat.exe, if you're under Win2k or WinXP. Select NT4 SP5, and it should load the .vdr
