Hi,
Is there any downside in using Type 1? I see that the upside is that you don't ever get any Audio Sync probs but I've read some progs don't support it....

I've never had any audio sync problems with Type 2. Type 2 is compatable with TMPGEnc encoder and most other encoder programs. I guess the better question would be are there any advantages to using Type 1, other than it may be required by some encoding programs.
