Help With Dowloaded split DVD

Hi. I'm trying to squash 2 dvd's with both menus to 1 DVD.

I have a problem with DVD Shrink, when I load up the vob files from HD I get an error saying “Failed to open blah blah the system cannot find the file specified. VTS_01_5.VOB”. There is no VTS_01_5.VOB File in the files I’m opening.

The files are from a 2 dvd set. DVD 1 & DVD 2 do not have this file.
All files fully extracted from dvd’s successfully. I can watch the DVD's ok on my DVD Player but want to put them both on 1 disk.

P.S. DVD 2 goes into DVD Shrink for re-authoring just fine, its just DVD 1.

Any help greatly appreciated.

you could try the latest version of dvd2one as that has a join function to take 2 dvds and compress onto one disk....but be aware the finished product can be unwatchable.....
Have done it a couple of times with fair results and once where it was so bad...jumpy film and audio..
