  1. Couple of newbie problems rendering an edited down home video for DVD in Ulead VS7...

First off, the end video has visible "lines" in it that appear in high motion scenes. Any way to get rid of these? Is this called "interlacing"?

Second, I have crossfades for most of my scene transitions, and my audio is set to both fade in and fade out between scenes. However, in the final rendered video, the audio seems to "jump" back to 100 percent at the ends of the clip. To illustrate, a clip is supposed to fade out (video and audio) on a 1 second transition. The picture and audio fade to black, but during the last 10th of a second or so, the audio pops back up to full blast for a moment. That really ruins my crossfades. Any advice?

Also, on the DVD export, I created Chapters, but on the exported DVD, I can't seem to page through the Chapters with the Next/Previous Chapter buttons on the DVD. It seems that it exports each new Chapter as a new Title, not as multiple Chapters within a Title. Any way to change this?

I don't do any editing myself but try to read all the forum posts in the forum for ADS Instant? products. One of the posters has done some very extensive editing using ulead vs7se and did a post of his methods. That forum does not have a guides section but the moderator made his post a "sticky"
