alright I ripped some movies
then used dvd2avi to get the files for tmpge
I then am only taking parts of the movies with tmpge, cutting out certain points.
having issues with audio NOT matching with picture
why is that?
Is there something I did wrong wit dvd2avi? I chose make audio to wav in dvd2avi. Is there another setting that can make it more accurate
one thing I do have a question on. if tmpge is running on my pc and I am doing other things on there while it's cutting the mpegs, would this cause the audio sync problem. Because I've been using my pc doing other stuff while tmpge is running, but never really thought much about it

Until i found this version i had the same problem occasionally.

A fella by the name of Donald Graft figured out there was a small bug in DVD2AVI that would cut a few frames off of the project. The audio would remain the same size while the video was shortened slightly.
As for using your PC while its encoding, there shouldn't be a problem, normally. TMPGEnc is crunching data and the process isn't time sensative.
It should only slow down your encoding. If you do something that causes partial crashes then all bets are off.
I wouldn't think of trying to capture while using the PC though.
