    I am burning with RecordNowDX, and I can't figure out how to force the DVD to play without the subtitles automatically appearing on the screen (by default).

    I choose 'no subtitles' as the default, but they still appear as soon as I play the DVD! Any ideas?

    this happens to me to, except im using stomp recordnow max 4.50

    are you burning from VIDEO_TS folder or an image?

    I'm also using the VIDEO_TS / AUDIO_TS folders... Anyone know how to stop this from happening?

    have u tried other ways to burn the folders besides recordnow max?

    i am going to try that and see if the subtitles are still on by default during playback.
