Most things i have been able to figure out. However im am lost with this one. I have an AVI which looks and sounds great. I extracted the audio using VirtualDub and encoded to a MPEG file. Looks great but the sound is not in sync. I then tried using GoldWave and got the same thing. I just cant figure out what im doing wrong. Oh im using Tmpge to encode. Any other info you might need please ask. I am a little new at asking questions here sorry.

    Any suggestions???

    Thanks for any help

  2. Did Virtualdub say anything about MP3 variable bitrate? Did you extract to a real wav file? (audio - full processing mode)

All VD said was when i opened the file it gave me a message stateing...
VD detected improper VBR audio encodeing.. will rewrite audio header with standard CBR values.. decompress the entire audio to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with consant bitrate encoder
    (bitrate 128.0 8.0kbps)

Ive gotten that message before and everything was fine but this one wants to give me a headache lol. When i use VD i go to full proc mode. then to compression and then to conversion and save as wav.

If you need further info please ask. Im not sure what info you would need to help me.

    Thanks

  4. If uncompressed dont work then i dont know. I would probably give it a try with direct stream copy and convert with Besweet, or even take an extra round with Winamp outputting to Wav but i doubt it would help when both Vdub and goldwave already failed.

  6. (AUDIO) FULL PROCESSING MODE...it's really quite simple
Look, let me explain something. I'm not Mr. Lebowski; you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. That, or Duder. His Dudeness. Or El Duderino, if, you know, you're not into the whole brevity thing--
