I recently purchased a 20-spindle of Verbatim DVD+R disks from Micro Center in Dallas. They were kind of 'pricey', $44.99 for twenty (and they were marked down from $69). I suppose they were marked down because they are 2.4x.
I bought them because I recently purchased a Epson R200 and wanted to try it out. I have burned and printed 5 disks so far and they work great. My question is who are they made by? Can I assume that since Verbatim is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corp. that the disks are Mitsubishi disks?
I've heard on this forum that the MCC are good disks, but I ran it on DVDInfo and the manufaturer was not available. The burn surface is a dark violet color with a cream-white (not bright-white) printable surface. The hub only says "Verbatim DVD+R".
