OK. I own a Sony TRV-330 Digital-8 cam. I'd like to convert my old 8mm videos to Video-CD. I would like some input of the best products out there for:
1) capture
2) editing
3) conversion
4) burning
If there are 3 packages which tend to work well together, or if there are some which are just generally better than the others, I'd greatly appreciate your input.
I own a P-4 1.5 GHz with 256MB RAM. I don't have a firewire card ... would like to know which would be a good one to buy.
Thanks in advance for the advice...

1)Virtualdub or AVI_IO
2)Adobe Premiere
3)Panasonic MPEG Encoder or TMPGEnc
4)Nero or VCDImagerEasy (latter for VCD's by far)
