I was thinking of buying this DVD player and I was wondering if it plays XVCD and XSVCD?
And can someone give me a review of it?
Is it worth 440 dollars CAN?

One of the biggest difference is that it support mp3s...another is that is it a very slim player. Dont know so much about xvcd playback, read the comments in our dvd players list.

If your planning to buy a Sony DVP-S530D, you can bid on my auction at ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1293856208. I am trading my Sony for Pioneer DV-440 or DV-444. Sony DVP-S530D will not play CD-R or CD-RW but plays DVD pretty well.
