I have a Sony SLV-D500P which is not playing VCD's I have followed the quides on the site and have no luck playing the VCD's. I have also tried VCD's that have worked on a previous player (Go-Video DVD-VHS Player) and they will not play either.
Is the Sony VERY picky about its format or the disks that it plays? I am using CD-R disks, the orginal disks that worked on the other player are just a generic no name disk. The new ones are TDK (I beleive).
Any thoughts, suggestions?
TIA
PS VCD's all play fine on the computer.
