    Does anyone know how to preview files from edonkey with edwatch?

  2. I would have thought AVIPreview would do this. I sure hope those files are legit!

    EDIT: Here's the link: AVIPreview - I know it's for Kazaa but it might work. Otherwise, open them up in VirtualDub and that can let you preview, I'm sure.

    How do I open them up in virtual dub? They're not complete files yet so I can't. I tried opening up an temp and it didn't work.

  4. Edwatch is just a GUI for AVI Preview. you need to configure Edwatch to find the AVI Priview program. there is detailed info on this on the Edonkey forums.

    I've done this a couple times, VirtualDub will complain about corrupt header, etc. But the incomplete AVIs played. Maybe it doesn't always work, don't know, but it's worth a try. Are you sure this isn't a bogus file?

    I'm sure they're not bogus files. I tried one and it worked. But I tried the second part of it and it didn't work.
    could u send me a link to the part of the forum where they tell u how to preview edonkey files?
