I've been playing my OGM files fine, suddenly, this only one episode got corrupted. It only played the first frame and that's it (both in WMP9 and TCM). I checked with VirtualDubMod and it shows that there're corrupt frames at 1 min. 08 seconds into the episode.
Can anyone tell me how to get it fix? Or at least to cut out the intro part where it went wrong. However, in VirtualDubMod, it only shows the intro and stopped where the error is. I can't see the rest of the episode, nor move the bar further than that, so I cannot cut it out. Please help me.
Thanks

First of all, I think you are better off downloading the thing again. It may have been corrupted during the original transfer. I'm guessing that you don't want to do that so here's a guide on cutting out bad frames. The catch is that you need to use Virtualdub MP3 Freeze, which doesn't open OGM files. What you can do is open the OGM in Vdubmod and save as avi. You'll probably have to disable the sub stream in Streams>Stream List. Make sure you select direct stream copy in the video menu.
I don't guarantee the guide will work for you, nor can I offer anymore help with the process. I normally don't waste my time trying to fix bad files. Not worth the aggrevation. I do however wish you the best of luck. -
thanks.
I've tried to redownload the file, but it still gives me error. So I'm sure that the file is corrupt itself.
I've also tried to cut out bad frame. I know exactly where it has error. but the thing is that when I tried to open with VirtualdubMod, it stop at where it has the errors and will not proceed any further.
say the file is 25 min long. Error occurs at 1 min 08 sec. Then Vdubmod only open the file and allowed me to save it from the beginning to 1 min 08 sec. Therefore, I can't cut out any part nor try to save it as the whole avi file.
anyone else? please help.
