The general consensus is that it cannot be done.
My personal take is to not be a cheap-ass and put one movie on each DVD.
That, or re-author with new menus. -
There are places online that sell 9.4GB 'flipper' (dual-sided) blanks. It's TECHNICALLY one disc, although last I checked they were over $2 a disc. That OR wait for a dual layer burner, shrink each movie down to one DVD-5 and burn each on a separate layer.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -

hmmmm... there wouldnt be anything you could make(an initial menu) that basically reads folder 1 and folder 2 with a video_ts file in each folder? anybody?

No. The structure of a DVD has to be VIDEO_TS folder in the root of the disc. Unfortunately, it's not like a PC (or the web) where it can traverse sub folders and such. You can do it with sub-menus if you re-author. TMPG DVD Author already does that when you have two separate tracks (videos).
