I hope someone can help me with this. I am using the "new" Big 3 guide to DVDS which uses ScenAid and Batchccews. My problem is once my encoding is finished using Batchccews I then use ScenAid to generate my script (Reauthorist stinks and will crash scenarist) and then open scenarist and open the .scp file that ScenAid created. Everything goes fine and well until I attempt to use the layout editor at which point when I press the "start" button I get the following error:
Error Subpicture Decoding Stream Number for letterbox of Stream 0
is 3 in PGC:<VTS1_Title2_PGC2> (Title:<VTS1_Title2>
VTS:<VTS_1>) , shall be less than 0
Error Subpicture Decoding Stream Number for letterbox of Stream 0
is 3 in PGC:<VTS1_Title3_PGC3> (Title:<VTS1_Title3>
VTS:<VTS_1>) , shall be less than 0
Error Validate From DB failed
Error DVD files could not be created
The encoding seems to have gone fine and there was no problems so does anyone know what I need to do to fix this? Thanks for the help as it's my 3rd time encoding the movie.

Has anyone had this issue or know how to go about fixing it? Thanks again.

I've seen this sort of thing with audio but not subpictures. Sometimes Doitfast and batchcce will result in strange filenames which confuse Reauthorist and Scenaid into thinking the track # is different than it really is. So you end up getting say, audio track 5 placed as track 65, which is not allowed.
Go to the track editor and find the two problem tracks listed in the error. Look at the subpicture streams and just try to find anything abnormal. You may have, for example, a sub stream for stream 3 and nothing in streams 1 or 2. Generally you get a different error when this happens but your problem has to be something to this effect. You may need to delete and reimport subs for these two problem tracks. If you can send me your script file I could probably tell what's wrong by looking at it. PM if you want.
