Ripping a clip from a DVD-R

Hello

I have a client that put their commercial on a DVD-R media. I am using a Mac (obviously) and I am wonderig what is the best way for me to get the movie file so I can convert into a Quicktime format so I can use it for the web. Any info on software steps whatever would be greatly appreciated
